Body Transformation Challenge

On Saturday the 1st of July we will begin the CF VSC Transformation challenge. The challenge will start with a Body Composition Analysis that measures the percentage of total body weight from both fat and muscle, which makes it a much better indicator of a person’s health than just simply overall body weight. The reality is that overall weight on its own is of little meaning and far too many people base their diet regimen on what they see on the bathroom scale. Even if ones weight is within a normal range, they can still have unhealthy or altered body composition.
This challenge will run for 8 weeks and end on the 25th of August. If done correctly this challenge will transform you and get you in the best shape of your life!
You will receive a Body composition Analysis at the start as well as at the end of the challenge to see your progress.
How does it work:
The BIA test works by sending a light and harmless electric current through ones body. A body’s total weight consists of various masses like fat, muscles, bones, and water. Each of these conducts electricity in different ways.
By measuring the electric resistance of these masses in a body, the test is able to accurately measure what percentage of total body weight is made up from each. Overall weight on its own is of little meaning and far too many people base their diet regimen on what they see on the bathroom scale. Even if ones weight is within a normal range, they can still have unhealthy or altered body composition. This is an integral part of a health and nutrition assessment.
